What is that yellow box? A 1975 Otis Electric! 96V pack comprised of 6v Trojan T105, driving a series DC motor through a Curtis 1221B controller. Single speed, Top speed of 35mph 12v deep cycle aux battery. Range approximately 40 miles on a charge. Alternator attached to rear shaft of motor to make it a not-quite-total-loss system. Two chargers required...
